Zone Company’s Role in Kingdom Transforming Human Resource Development in Saudi Arabia.

Zone Company played a pivotal role in the transformation of human resource management in the of Saudi Arabia through its collaboration with the prestigious “King Salman Program for Human Resource Development.”

This initiative, sanctioned by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, underscores the visionary leadership’s commitment to elevating the quality of performance and productivity within the Saudi workforce.

The program, underpinned by meticulous review and strategic planning, instigated a monumental shift from conventional personnel management to a dynamic human resources approach.  Zone Company’s expertise and technological support were instrumental in this transformative journey.

Zone Company actively contributed to the program’s objective of attracting, nurturing, and developing exceptional human resource leadership. This included training and upskilling current employees across various sectors.

Cutting-Edge Technology

Zone Company was instrumental in developing and implementing a user-friendly “Human Resources System,” a vital technological tool to streamline and enhance HR management processes.

Content Development

The collaboration extended to creating comprehensive guides and recommendations, fostering modern HR best practices such as competency building, talent management, performance assessment, and job classification. This initiative resulted in the production of 13 operational and strategic HR guidance manuals.

Human Resources Excellence

Zone Company’s robust project management methodology ensured that the program remained on course to achieve its goals within stipulated time frames and budgets.

The program began by establishing a General Human Resource Management Directorate within each participating ministry, consolidating previously disconnected departments responsible for personnel affairs, training, and more. 

Zone Company’s expertise facilitated the seamless integration of these departments and the introduction of three new ones: Internal Communication Management, Human Resource Development Management, and Human Resource Operations.

Under the program’s guidance, recruitment methods underwent significant change. Ministries were empowered to collaborate with the Ministry of Civil Service to ensure a fair and objective selection process.

Furthermore, the transition from manual promotion submissions to an electronic system streamlined HR procedures and offered clear career progression pathways for employees.

Technical Advancements

Zone Company’s role in implementing the Human Resources System, known as the “Unified Government Resources System (NGRP),” across various government entities was pivotal.
 
This implementation not only marked a significant technological leap but also offered comprehensive support, maintenance, and operational expertise to ensure the system’s success.

Program Stages

Stage One

Six government entities, including the Ministry of Civil Service and the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, underwent simultaneous system implementation, followed by parallel operation and six months of technical support.

Stage Two

This stage encompassed three groups, each comprising multiple entities, and expanded the program's reach. Zone played a vital role in implementing the Human Resources System in numerous ministries, further solidifying its commitment to enhancing human resource management in Saudi Arabia.
